Dear SafeBoda Community,
Happy New Year! As we dive deeper into 2024, I am overjoyed to extend my warmest wishes to our phenomenal Boda & car drivers, partners, staff and all our esteemed users/passengers. This new year unfolds with the promise of exciting opportunities, and a reflection on what we need to do better.
SafeBoda was launched in 2015 in order to improve the safety for both drivers and passengers on boda boda rides. More than 8 years later, we have developed our app to include a number of other services, including SafeCar, package delivery and payment-related services. However, safety needs to remain at the heart of everything we do.
We are reaffirming our commitment to safety in 2024. We have some exciting new product features in the coming few weeks which will help increase the safety and security of both drivers and passengers. Please be advised that for trips to be covered by our safety measures like insurance, they must be completed exclusively through our application. Trips undertaken off-app cannot be guaranteed any level of support and security!
At SafeBoda, we recognize the paramount importance of customer service, and we sincerely apologize for any instances where we have fallen short of your expectations. Our commitment is to always be available to assist our drivers and passengers through our dedicated call centre.
We emphasise the significance of mutual respect, understanding that our drivers are diligently working to provide a vital service, and our passengers are seeking efficient transportation. We are here to address any concerns, ensuring a harmonious and positive experience for everyone involved.
