SafeBoda Partners with Legacy Road Safety Initiative On Road Safety Marathon
SafeBoda, the number one ride-hailing platform in Uganda, has announced its partnership with the Legacy Road Safety Initiative for their highly anticipated second Road Safety Marathon. The event is scheduled to take place on July 23, 2023, at Nakasero Primary School in Kampala, starting from 7 am and concluding at 1 pm.
The Road Safety Marathon aims to raise awareness about road safety and promote responsible behavior on Uganda’s roads. To participate in this important event, individuals are encouraged to contribute a registration fee of 25,000 shillings. The proceeds will support the Legacy Road Safety Initiative’s efforts to assist crash victims and save limbs through various medical interventions and awareness campaigns.
SafeBoda has been a strong advocate for road safety in Uganda since its inception. As a company that operates a large fleet of motorcycle taxis and cars, SafeBoda is acutely aware of the risks faced by road users and is dedicated to promoting safer roads across the country.
