SafeBoda partners with Treepz, as an official boat transporter to Nyege Nyege 2022
SafeBoda, Uganda’s Super app and ride-hailing service provider, has partnered with bus booking platform Treepz Uganda to transport partygoers attending this year’s Nyege Nyege festival.
The joint venture will help customers easily book transportation to and from the 4-day event and securely get into the festival. The partnership includes a bus ride from set pickup locations to Kalagala falls, where customers will set off on a 10-minute boat ride to the festival site, right on the banks of Itanda falls.
The boat service, SafeBoat operated by SafeBoda, is the official and exclusive boat transportation for Nyege Nyege 2022, and will serve up to 20 people per ride in 15-minute intervals.
Ricky Rapa Thomson, the SafeBoda Co-founder and Director, says the goal of the partnership is to deliver a beautiful experience that takes guests into the festival with an exclusive entrance next to the beach and main stage, while helping them avoid long drives.
“We offer a professional and safe service with registered motorized boats, mandatory life jacket wearing, and security support from the Marine Police. We have also set aside an affordable parking lot for those who need to park their vehicles at the set-off site, with security guaranteed,” Ricky adds.
Ronald Hakiza, the Treepz Uganda Country Manager, applauded SafeBoda’s innovative approach to transporting partygoers and committed to working closely to ensure a great travel experience.
