With the SafeBoda App, you can easily withdraw money from your Wallet. There are three ways to do so: At a SafeBoda Agent near you, a bank account, and to a mobile money account.
It is easy to transfer money to your mobile money account or a friend’s account, even if the recipient is not a SafeBoda App user. It costs as low as UGX 500 to withdraw and the process is instant, as the money reflects on the receiving end as soon as the transaction is confirmed.
How to withdraw from SafeBoda Wallet to mobile money
At the moment, the wallet-to-mobile money withdraw option is only available to Airtel Uganda customers. Follow these steps to transfer money from your SafeBoda Wallet to an Airtel Money account.
- Open the SafeBoda app on your mobile and click on ‘Withdraw’
- Select the Mobile Money option
- Enter the mobile number and confirm the recipient’s name
- Select the amount you wish to send
- Confirm the transaction details with your Wallet PIN
What happens if you enter the wrong account details while withdrawing?
For Wallet to mobile money transfers, the recipient’s name is reflected before the transaction is completed for confirmation. Once the displayed name is not what you expected, you can cancel the transaction to re-enter the correct number.
