Introducing SafeBoat — The Easiest Way to Get to Nyege Nyege 2022
SafeBoda is partnering with Nyege Nyege 2022 to operate SafeBoat as the festival’s official and exclusive boat transportation.
Boats will be available for set-off at Kalagala Falls Cultural Center from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th September for 24-hour transportation to and from the festival site next to Itanda falls.
The service has been inspected and deemed professional and safe by the authorities— with registered motorized boats, mandatory life jacket wearing, and security support from the Marine Police.
Why the easiest way?
We know well that the party has to kick off before it starts, usually with the mood growing as you come closer to it. That’s why we are getting you to Nyege Nyege 2022 with the SafeBoat experience.
With the festival now at Itanda falls, accessing the grounds via road transport is a long and bumpy ride. Yet, there’s a shortcut across the Nile!
Once you board a boat setting off from Kalagala falls, it only takes 10 minutes to reach Itanda falls, where the festival is happening. The boats will operate 24 hours per festival day and serve up to 14 people per trip — crossing every 10 minutes while limiting waiting time.
This gives you an exclusive and fast entrance to the beach and main stage, the most direct and convenient way to access the festival in style! Additionally, affordable parking is available for those who need to park their vehicles at the set-off site.
